We also offer Low Self Discharge (LSD) Rechargeable Batteries for use in wireless microphones. The advantage of these wireless mic batteries is that they do not need to remain on the battery charger until ready for use. Fail Safe Operation Using Rechargeable Batteries for Wireless Mics

We strongly recommend the use of the Ansmann Energy Check for measuring the remaining capacity of a rechargeable before use. This becomes very important towards the end of a rechargeable battery's useful life. The Energy Check will let you know if the battery is able to acheive a full charge. With Ansmann rechargeable batteries, it is possible to acheive high-recycles -- up to 1000 thousand charges when used inconjucntion with our refreshing, battery maintenance chargers like the Energy 8 Plus or the Energy 16 battery charger.
